Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We continue to diversify our library and look for terrific literature to add to our Library Collection. We have noticed that many of our Spring holiday book are dated and in need of replacement. Old favorites have just fallen into the old category and need to be retired, but we want to make sure that new beautiful holiday books are available for students to check out.

Each year we work to make sure Books on the Regional award list like the Washington Children Choice Award s or Young Readers Choice Award list are available to students.

These new list for 2026 have recently been released and they are the backbone of our library curriculum each year and represent a variety of genres, cultures and interests. We look forward to having these books in our library and appreciate any help towards funding this project.
