This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have finally started up a theatre program here at our school and our first big production is Clue! We have already held auditions and the students are so excited to finally have a theatre program! We had many more students than we anticipated try out, and with all of the excitment of our first big production, we want to be sure we get a head start on not only rehearsals, but getting everything we need to ensure this is the start of a very successful relationship between our students and performing arts.
We want to have all the necessary props, tools, and equipment to make their first experiemence one that they can remember and one that will make students come back for the next production if this is their first.
We also would want students who see the performance to gain the courage to want to try it out for themselves in order to grow their own confidence. The fact that we had so many students show interest once we opened up auditions was such a joy and we are so excited to finally see them have the spotlight on them!
