My Project

April showers may bring May flowers, but a new season also means new speech and language materials in my classroom. I am asking for a gift certificate to TeachersPayTeachers (TPT). This online website has thousands of materials created by teachers for teachers (or speech pathologists in my case)!

Since I have a caseload of very diverse students with a wide range of communication needs, using the academic curriculum in my speech sessions often isn't enough.

The engaging and motivating materials found on TPT will not only help my students reach their speech goals but save me HOURS of work. My students especially love when I introduce new digital card decks called BOOM cards. BOOM decks, which are sold on TPT, are animated activities with fun graphics. They help to target many goals including retelling stories, understanding vocabulary, following directions, expanding sentences, improving grammar and much more.
