My Project

Our students love new books for our school library. They visit the library once a week, as a class, where they are able to choose a book to borrow and take part in literacy activities like Story-Telling Kits, Puppet Shows, Listening Centers, and Partner Reads. They collaborate with their classmates to support each other's comprehension development. New books help to keep them engage in these activities, especially new books they can make connections with and relate to. Bright, colorful, inviting covers to pique children's interest to want to pick the book up and engaged with it are so important!
