Spring Into Creativity: Custom T-Shirts for Our Classroom Workshop
Help me give my students the chance to express their creativity and school pride by designing and printing their own T-shirts, turning their ideas into wearable art that celebrates our community.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As spring blossoms around us, our class is buzzing with anticipation for a project that promises to blend creativity, technology, and school spirit.
We plan to host a T-shirt printing workshop, where students will have the opportunity to print a T-shirt.
To bring this vision to life, we need 40 quality Gildan T-shirts in our school colors, setting the perfect canvas for our students’ designs.
Our classroom is equipped with a DTF (Direct to Film) printer, an incredible tool that allows for vibrant, detailed graphics to be printed on fabric.
Impact on Learning:
This project goes beyond just creating T-shirts; it’s about:
• Integrating Technology and Art: Utilizing the DTF printer provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge printing technology, blending the worlds of digital design and traditional art.
• Fostering School Spirit: By wearing T-shirts in our school colors, designed by our students, we strengthen our community and sense of belonging.
• Promoting Practical Skills: From graphic design to understanding the printing process, students gain valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom.
