Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is important to give my students a chance to stimulate their imagination and create a variety of works of art. Adding art to writing, science, language arts, etc. allows another platform for students to increase their knowledge through a different format.

Students who learn how to create art enriches the learning experiences they are having in the classroom.

It increases student engagement and gets them excited about the learning!

In science we will be learning about living and nonliving things; they will create a habitat while learning about the needs of living things. As spring approaches, my students will design eggs, participate in making a fun bunny that matches a writing project and story we will be reading. They will use markers to create story maps and posters to promote a book they have enjoyed reading. There are many art projects that my students will participate in as we finish out the rest of the year! My students will be thrilled to participate in these fun and engaging projects.
