This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's that time of year! We will see insects everywhere! My students enjoy science and have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Through this STEM activity my students will be able to take a closer look at insects and explore how we benefit from these miraculous creepy crawly creatures. Instead of screaming with fear they will squeal with delight as they investigate and describe different types of insects. This is a lesson that's sure to stick with the students throughout their lives. In this lesson the students will learn from reading, art, and utilizing view masters to take a safe and up close look at these marvelous creatures.
