Help me give my students a brighter & cleaner classroom this spring! My students LOVE helping out and take pride in the many things they can do on their own. Learning how to care for their space…FUN!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Spring is in the air, and so is a clean, healthy classroom climate. My students enjoy being little helpers and what best to show this in our own classroom environment! For our newly named cleaning project “Spring Fling,” we will work together to fight germs and keep our classroom sparkly, happy and healthy. Clorox wipes will be used to wipe down our tables after meals (we eat lunch and snack in the classroom daily) and art activities. Hand sanitizer will help keep germs at bay as we can handle messy spills and sticky surfaces. Paper towels are always needed to wipe hands after washing and as a barrier for germs. We also use paper towels for quick clean ups and spills. I will have students decorate their own spring-themed t-shirts for the “fling” as a fun and creative way to kick off the cleaning. The donation of supplies will enable students to take pride in their part of helping our classroom stay clean for a healthier climate in our FUN learning spaces!
