We are a multicultural classroom. The majority of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. We have a large population of migrant students from various places. The largest would be Somali students. For some of our students, this is their first time going to school in America.
Many of our students are trauma-impacted, low-income students.
These students view school as their safe place and a place where they can be themselves. We have a very supportive community that is built mostly of refugees.
My Project
Seeing so many kids means my classroom gets dirty with the tracking in everything imaginable.
To help keep our classroom clean throughout the day, we are looking for some cleaning supplies.
We are requesting cleaning supplies so that we can have a fresh, clean, germ-free classroom to stay healthy.
We are looking for a good working vacuum to help keep our rug clean and free from dirt. We are also looking for Clorox wipes to help keep the surfaces and materials we work with clean and germ-free. To help keep our room clean we are also in need of paper towels and a place to store them on the counter. With the tracking of mud throughout the day and the dust that settles, it is time to keep our classroom clean.
