My Project
As an after-school team, rather than a class, my students have diverse ages and interests. We have students who have been academically successful but who have never had a chance to apply what they've learned in a real project. We also have students who have felt "shut down" by the high-pressure academics of our advanced classes but who are incredibly smart and creative.
We've just completed another successful season in which we built the most sophisticated, best-functioning robot in the team's history. It's time for us to replenish our lab with safety equipment and, literally, nuts and bolts for building robots.
