My Project

My students love to share their art with family and friends, and a chalk art festival is the perfect springtime event to share with our community.

Students will practice their math skills as we measure out sections of our sidewalk for each artwork.

Then, they will develop their observational skills by practicing the grid transfer method set set up the chalk art. Students will get to work with fine artist quality chalk pastels to create stunning yet ephemeral street art. Finally, we will be able to share our artwork with our community through visits and photography!
