Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. In an effort to spread kindness and unity within the school community, my Student Council kids would like to host a Valentine's Day activity event.

Amongst a station to make Valentine's Day cards and crafts, they would like to set up a photo booth so that students can take fun friendship pictures with their friends.

They would also like to pass out friendship candy grams.

We have already received the supplies needed for all the other fun activities planned for the day.

We are now asking for candy for the candy grams. My students voted and decided that Ring Pops, Fun Dip, and candy heart bracelets would be the most economical and liked by students. The candy will be attached to positive messages and given to the student body as candy grams. Making this day a day full of love, friendship, and generosity will help the students experience kindness and acceptance of all.

We appreciate your support in helping my students promote kindness, love, friendship, and care through the ability to pass out candy grams.
