This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students, like most lately, have been through a lot. I teach in a co-taught class and for the second year in a row for these 8th graders, one of their two teachers is leaving mid-year. These kids deserve some positivity in their day and a refresh as I redecorate the room in bring in more life and color.
Many of these students experience anxiety and stress on a regular basis, providing them with fidgets to keep their bodies moving while they learn has shown to be a great help.
Please help me bring much needed new supplies in to help them de-stress and bring in the positivity.
