Spreading Love Through Crafts

Help me give my students jewelry making supplies so they can make Valentines Day gifts while working on improving their skills!

My Project

I am an occupational therapist and I work with my students on many skills, including improving their fine motor skills, visual-motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and sensory processing skills. These skills are the building blocks for being a successful learner. During COVID, many of my students learnt at home for long periods of time, and didn't have access to a lot of supplies, which affected many of their skills.

Children learn best through play, and so I try to make our therapy sessions fun and exciting by engaging in various hands-activities.

However, we need the supplies to be able to do this. I am requesting jewelry making supplies so that my students can meet their goals in a fun and exciting ways. By donating these jewelry making supplies, my students will be able to make Valentine's Day gifts for each other while working on many of their skills!

Many of my students come from low-income homes and don't have these opportunities at home. These activities will allow my students to be able to learn and improve various skills, in a fun and exciting way!
