Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are taking direct action to spread kindness in our community by creating personalized items to gift to a local youth baseball team for their upcoming tournaments. Through this project, students will use sublimation to design and produce custom shirts, towels, tumblers, and luggage tags. These meaningful, handmade gifts will show support and encouragement to the players while giving our students a powerful way to give back.
This project goes beyond the classroom—it fosters empathy, creativity, and community connection.
Our ESE students will develop real-world vocational and life skills through hands-on work with sublimation, while also participating in a campaign of kindness that reaches our wider school and neighborhood community.
The goal is to celebrate and uplift others while teaching our students that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. With your support, we will purchase the necessary blank materials such as sublimation shirts, luggage tags, towels, and tumblers to bring this project to life.
