it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their drive to make a difference. They aren’t just learners—they’re leaders, collaborators, and compassionate young people who care deeply about their community. Our school is planning a public movie night to bring students, families, and community members together in a fun, welcoming environment—and we need your help to make it special! We’re requesting snacks and concession stand items like chips, candy, and drinks to hand out for free to attendees.
This event isn’t just about entertainment—it’s about building a culture of kindness, inclusion, and connection.
By offering free treats, we’re showing our students that small gestures can make a big difference in making people feel valued and cared for.
For many of our students, events like this are a rare chance to unwind and connect with their peers in a positive, safe space. With your support, we’ll not only provide a memorable experience but also model generosity and community spirit. Help us turn a simple movie night into a powerful act of kindness that our students will remember and be inspired by.
Inspired by the Service Stars mission of Spreading Kindness, my students are committed to sharing their knowledge, their love of their school, and their time with peers, family and the community. The resources we’re requesting will help bring a sense of community and fun to a rare school event.
