The utilization of the instructional technology, TI-84 calculator will enhance my students' success when confronted with mathematics problems in the classroom and the real world. Students will use their TI-84 calculators in class as well as during state standardized assessments such as the SAT. In receiving mathematics instruction with the TI-84 in hand students will gain a sense of comfort in utilizing the tool to solve problems. Being that our school is a theme based magnet school, focusing on Information Technology, the TI-84 calculator will not only magnetize the theme of my school but also the brains of the students in my class.
