My students are all hard working individuals excited to come to school each day and ready to learn. They look forward to music class and what we are learning. In fourth grade, students learn to play the violin and they are so excited to be doing so.
What better way to engage students in the violin then to have some professionals spread holiday cheer as a violin duo for them?
Montero Violins would be giving our 4th grade students a holiday concert virtually in music class on December 16th. I know my students would be absolutely thrilled for this, and I hope to be able to provide them the opportunity. Not only will it be amazing for them to hear professionals play the instrument they are learning, but music is a great way to enhance math literacy skills as well. We are learning how to read rhythms which involves knowing numbers and fractions, and showing that some people are able to make a living out of this will be such a great experience for them!
