This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the holidays in four weeks, I would like to put together some Christmas stockings to reward my students for their hard work. Each Christmas stocking will be filled with Oreos, Hershey's chocolate, and Sour Patch Kids. Each student will get their own treat and stocking the day before winter break. My middle schoolers have been hard at work, since September, and they are truly deserving of some holiday cheer. The fairy lights will add to the ambiance of our holiday celebration. The cardstock paper will be used to write each student a personalized note. The stockings will be proudly displayed in my classroom as an incentive, and will be filled with a special surprise each day.
