My Project
Spreading kindness at home, school, or in the community. Every child deserves to be listened to, heard, and understood. Teaching social emotional learning through art is one way to do this. It seems like common sense that everyone should know how to handle their feelings and emotions.
However, that is not the case with the students teachers encounter on a regular basis.
This project will fund students for an entire school year to learn how to be kind, spread kindness, and bring kindness to the community.
Please help me on my mission to spread kindness.
The supplies for the kindness project will be used to implement positive behaviors and kindness around the school. The students will use the chart paper and arts and crafts supplies to create artwork that is self expressive. Students are leaning to manage their feelings and emotions in healthy ways in the art room.
The face masks, lysol, and wipes will help the classroom stay kind and healthy. The popcorn, stickers, and erasers will be positive reinforcements in the art room for students to receive at the end of their time in the art room. I love to reward my students for their positive behaviors!
