Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 7th grade students have noticed an issue at middle schools concerning bullying. They would like to participate in an anti-bullying campaign at their school where they will create flyers as well as posters to post around the school to promote a message of kindness versus hate.
They will apply their knowledge of rhetorical devices learned in their ELA classes to persuade students to STOP the bullying and embrace kindness.
With these materials they will have the opportunity to create vibrant hand-made posters and print out student made flyers to display.
