Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I'm seeking funding to establish a Kindness Club at our elementary school because I believe that fostering a culture of compassion and empathy is crucial for our students' personal and academic growth. The Kindness Club would create opportunities for children to engage in activities that promote teamwork, respect, and understanding, helping to reduce bullying and enhance the overall school environment. With funding, we could provide materials for creative projects and organize community service events.

This initiative not only benefits the school community by encouraging positive behavior, but it also empowers students with life-long skills in empathy, collaboration, and leadership.

Investing in the Kindness Club is an investment in the social and emotional well-being of our students, paving the way for a brighter, more compassionate future.
