This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I know that you will honestly be able to hear a pin drop in our classroom when we are reading A Little Spot book for social emotional learning!
My students will absolutely love these books, and are eager to learn more regulation strategies through additional texts.
The stuffed animal Spots will be a huge help in terms of students accessing their feelings in those moments and will be an important reminder to point at or access when feeling a certain way. Students will love the opportunity to add these resources into our classroom environment, and I know it will help them grow and understand their emotions better through these books.
