This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class forms part of a diverse community of learners in the heart of our community. A typical day in my classroom involves challenging students to overcome their fears as learners.
The school I am currently working in is a Title I school that services children of different backgrounds and learning abilities.
Students are exposed to hands-on activities and collaborative groups to form meaningful and long-lasting learning. My students are always eager and attentive to learn new things every day.
My Project
In our first grade classroom we have carpet that we use frequently throughout a typical school day as a common meeting area. We love using our meeting area to have conversations, learn new things, read etc. In order to keep our meeting area active,safe and a clean we need your help.
Our class is need of Hoover carpet cleaner and A Bissell Vacuum to keep our meeting area (carpet) clean and dirt and germ free.
Having a clean classroom will promote a healthier learning environment. A clean classroom will also decrease the amount of absences due to allergies or asthma. We hope to have our project funded!
