Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students are the future of healthcare! My school is a magnet school focusing on Medical Science and Sport Science.

To support our growing athletic program, our medical students will practice their medical skills on the field with our student-athletes.

In the classroom, our medical students are learning about physiology and kinesiology, yet out on the field they will practice proper stretching techniques, athletic taping, and performing first aid with our athletes.

This opportunity will enable our students to gain hands-on experience by practicing their medical skills throughout the year. Your contribution will have a significant impact on the education and future career prospects of our aspiring healthcare professionals who aspire to work with professional athletes in the sports industry.
