Sports Matter...Everyone Deserves to Play!

Help me give my students equipment to play sports, use during field day and use during PE class.

My Project

My students do not get many opportunities to play sports outside of school. This is due to a variety of reasons, including where they live, finances, supervision and more. School is a safe place where all students can play sports in PE, recess, during field day and more.

Sports make such an impact on students, from building physical health, sportsmanship and lifelong skills.

The catch and release along with the toss and catch sets are essential for our youngest learners to learn how to catch. They will use this during PE, organized recess, during afterschool sports and during field days. For our older students, the mesh bags will hold the footballs and kickballs (which will be used for 4-square as well as kickball). The cones will be used during PE class while also during field day to teach kids how to do relay races, set up parameters for playing a game, and more. The baseball bases will allow students to play the games of baseball, softball, kickball and more with structure. This will engage more students to be more active and improve their physical health.
