This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is in desperate need of sports equipment. We don't have much. These kids don't ask for much. Just need stuff that they can play during recess and PE because sports matter in classroom basics.

The sports equipment we have requested will make such a difference for my students on the playground.

The sports balls will allow them to play basketball, kickback and soccer. I have requested a footballs, jump ropes, cones, and a first aid kit. My students would be so excited to have these options when going out to play. Currently my students share outside sports equipment with several grades, so it is not always available. This equipment will help to keep my students active as well as allow them to pursue and have access to the sport of their choice.
