Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is in desperate need of sports equipment. Times have changed and more and more students need to have special movement breaks incorporated into their daily school schedule to prevent outbursts in class.

I would love to be able to surprise them and give them new sports equipment and outdoor games to play with during their breaks.

The para professionals would be able to go and play with a group of students instead of just taking them to walk a lap. I am hoping that by offering a play break and having something new and exciting to work for, it will reduce some of the inappropriate behaviors in class.
