This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every day, I take my students out in the morning for 20 minutes of PE. It is a great way to encourage movement, build teamwork, and promote confidence. As the year progresses, students strategize and become skilled athletes in different sports and games. I love watching their abilities and confidence build as they participate in different activities. The sports equipment I am asking for will last us the whole school year and provide meaningful lessons and memories.
The desk pets and containers help students with their social-emotional learning as well as being responsible for an item.
Each year students build homes, collect accessories, and read to their desk pets. It is a fun and engaging way to build our class community.
