Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are so important to me. They are great kids who have to deal with a lot of things in their lives. I feel like sports is a great outlet for them to express themselves and get some important life lessons. Sports are so important in my students life because they also provide them with something safe to do outside of school. Right during these tough times I am always wondering what my students are doing at home to keep busy.
One of the ideas I had was being able to drop off some sports equipment for the students to have at home to keep busy and get off the techonlogy.
So I was thinking some of them would get excited to practice some sports at home to provide them a distraction. My students love sports and practicing their sports skills can help with that.
My Project
The equipment packages that I would like donated would get equipment to hundreds of students at my school. I would love to be able to suprise the students with deliveries on their porch. The equipment has different sports and even jump ropes that the students can practice at home. Many of my students do not have sports equipment at home and parents are struggling to make it during these tough times.

The equipment packages are great and give a lot of equipment in each bundle. Then I can design some videos online for the students to practice their skills at home. I know my students would be so grateful.
