Sports After Covid 19

Help me give my students the opportunity to participate in high school sports safely! They need proper safety equipment to eliminate injuries and promote participation.

My Students

My students at my high school are very special people who have already endured such hardships in their young lives; they are the most resilient people I know. Many of my students have immigrated from war-torn countries, refugee camps and foreign countries. My students are hard workers, fast learners and they deserve the best that I can give them.

The student population at my school is very diverse, we have students from 15 different countries and there are 20 different languages.

Along with the students from different countries, we also have American students that have the opportunity to bond with students who are culturally different than themselves. My school offers an experience that no other school can match.

My Project

As coaches, we want to provide our students with every opportunity to participate in sports. Most of our students and our district are not able to afford the necessary safety equipment (knee pads/shin guards), in order to be able to participate; the responsibility then falls to the coaches.

Being able to provide this safety equipment for our students allows us to increase participation and promote inclusion among all students despite their financial situation.

Coaches already give their time, their passion, and their hearts to the team. Help me help my coaches give an opportunity to a student that would not financially be able to participate.
