My Project
My second-grade scholars are an amazing group of young learners who inspire me every single day. Coming from an underprivileged neighborhood, they face many challenges outside of school, but inside our classroom, they show up with joy, perseverance, and a deep love of learning. Their hard work and positive spirit deserve a special celebration to mark all they have accomplished this year.
I am requesting water balloons and footballs to create a fun, active end-of-year event for them.
Water balloons will bring laughter and excitement, offering a chance for my students to cool off, play together, and enjoy being carefree kids for a day. Footballs will give them a way to build teamwork, practice good sportsmanship, and develop coordination skills while having a blast outdoors.
Many of my students don’t have access to safe outdoor play or organized sports during the summer months. This celebration will not only give them a joyful experience now but also positive memories to carry with them into the summer break.
