Splash Math Intervention

My Students

There are misconceptions about schools that are in a "well sought out district"; however, one of the most common is that we have unlimited supplies and funds. Ridgeview Elementary has 700 kindergarten-5th grade students that come from all walks of life (some more fortunate than others). The truth is that we get less funding from the state, so our students have fewer materials/supplies. The teachers and administration are constantly trying to find ways to get our kids enough intervention to increase their Math abilities, but so many items are just not in our school budget, and most researched programs are too expensive to request. This program will reach each of our students and be available both in their classrooms, as well as at their homes for practice.

My Project

Splash Math is an educational program that provides over 300 skills in ​basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, number sense, geometry, and story problems). Splash Math is a complete math program which reinforces math concepts allowing students to work at their own pace and take them to their highest level. We know this program works because we have piloted it in several classrooms. Now we want it available for our whole campus!

Splash Math is always a favorite station in our room when we get ready to independently practice a concept we have learned.

It also includes unlimited math lessons that take students to a higher level when they have mastered the concepts. However, without the full program, these higher levels remained locked. The Splash Math program will also be available for Ridgeview Elementary students to practice at home at their own pace to get extra practice! Please help us get the full program so that we can reach our highest potential!
