S.P.I.R.E is a Multi-Sensory Method for Learning to Read!
Help me give my students S.P.I.R.E is an intensive reading intervention program for nonreaders and struggling readers. Lately, educators have noticed enormous gaps in reading ability. With your help we can work on closing up the gap.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our scholars are so eager to learn but many still struggling with phonemic awareness, letter sounds, rhyming, fluency and comprehension.
This S.P.I.R.E Level 1 Kit is the perfect combination of covering all these skills to help our scholars master the foundational skills necessary to be successful readers.
S.P.I.R.E. uses an Ortho-Gillingham based method for helping our scholars to learn basic foundational skills which is what our students need.
We will use this kit every day during small group and intervention to help our scholars feel successful and motivated to learn.
