The sensory room is specifically designed to meet students' individual emotional needs. The requested resources are beneficial to help preschoolers decompress and relax. The rocker, lights, and fidget toys provide a calming effect, improving students' focus and helping to channel excess energy.
Autistic preschoolers need a safe, controlled space to be themselves.
This therapeutic space has both active and calming experiences providing a full range of interactive activities.
The sensory room will allow students to spin it, rock it, and pop-it without the fear of being told to stop it, sit down, and be still.
