This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a dual immersion (Spanish/English) school. This means some students speak English, and some speak Spanish. Instruction occurs in both languages, so students graduate bilingual and illiterate. My students are bilingual, which is fantastic, but they are also kind, funny, and inquisitive.

I want to prepare my students for the jobs of the future.

Technology and coding are becoming more and more critical.

This Sphero Indi robot can be coded using the students' color cards. These robots will help my students learn the basics of coding in a fun way.
