it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is requesting special reading workbooks to help my students continue to build on writing individual sentences, and build on their understanding of sight words and phonics. Due to the pandemic and virtual learning, many students are experiencing gaps in their academics. The students need language arts support. After being on a computer for distance learning for so long, I know the students will benefit a great deal from not only the practice in reading and grammar, but the handwriting practice itself will also be crucial to my new 2nd graders as well.
This project will allow students to have a meaningful experience.
I love that the workbooks will cover many spelling and sight words topics for additional practice. These workbooks can be used at home or school, in order to help their families make that home-school connection. I want this year to be as beneficial for my students as possible in order to continue the learning process. I plan to use the workbooks for home practice, remediation, and station work. Thank you for your time and support of my students.
