Speeding into Play

My students need a Play Car with storage in order to expand their dramatic play. They could use this in a multitude of ways.

My Students

We are Head Start school, working on closing the achievement gap. We are a community of Pre-K children wanting to learn despite the obstacles we face every day.

Our families come from various cultures and backgrounds.

They speak different languages, as well. The children develop differently and reach developmental milestones at various stages. We have sets of siblings in our classrooms, which makes learning interesting. No child should be left behind. Team work makes the dream work! This is our school family.

My Project

My students would love this play car in their classroom to increase their dramatic play experiences. The students would be able to pretend to go places and need to figure out how they would need to get there. My students mapping skills would improve in the classroom which would increase their assessment scores. The children would also be able to work on their cooperation and team building skills with one another. They would have to work together and take turns on who is driving and who are the passengers. The students could also use this play car for pretending to go on trips and need to figure out what they need for their trip.
