This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students at our school are some of the best students that I know. Our school serves students in high school and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. Our school mission is to prepare our students to go to and through college.

Our high school soccer team began 3 years ago.

The soccer team continues to get more competitive as we grow in size. As a newer team students have the opportunity to learn key skills during practice, and develop not only as athletes, but as students. Some have played soccer for years others are touching the soccer ball for the first time.

My Project

Our students our well into their soccer season. We need several storage containers to organize uniforms, tags to label their soccer bags, more captains bands, and two agility ladders to work on speed. All of these items will help us finish this season strong, and stay organized for next year!

Our all-star soccer athletes have not only worked hard this season, but are always looking for ways to improve!

We can't wait to see them master the speed ladder. They continue to lead on the field and in the classroom.

The storage containers will store all soccer uniforms in the off season. The captains bands will be given to other students showing leadership on the field, and in the classroom. The tags will help students keep their items organized and secured.
