My Project

My student population includes a variety of learners including children with language delays, sensory needs, and students on the autism spectrum. My goals is to introduce some sequence cards, phonics flash cards, and animal toys into my lessons for all of my learners. While addressing their sensory needs, I hope to promote an increase expressive and receptive language skills. Addressing sensory needs helps to decrease behaviors, regulate emotions, and improve students' accessibility to learn by using the wiggle seats. My students are special because they each have a unique way of communicating with the adults and peers around them, my goal is to make their uniqueness as efficient and effective as possible.
