My Project
Our students have a strong desire to learn and explore their learning environments. Many have minimal verbal skills or are non-verbal requiring visual supports to help them process what they see or hear, and to communicate with others.
A lot of printer ink, printer paper, and laminating sheets are needed to produce visual supports and activities. The visual supports are created for activities, books, and peer interactions to help them understand and give them the words they need to communicate. Student engagement and interest increases when visual supports are provided.
