My Students
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school, supporting students grades PreK-5th Grade. Our students learn in general education, Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT), bilingual, and 12:1 special education classrooms. Many students in our school come from low income families, and our school is comprised of a large ELL (English Language Learner) population. At our school, 96% of our students receive free or reduced-priced lunch.
My students are eager to learn and grow!
My Project
I am excited to get back to working with my students in our therapy room! These materials will give my students the opportunity to interact with engaging, colorful, and creative materials. I would love my students to have access to materials that are laminated, as these materials would be sturdy and readily available for them. I have requested some books for new additions to our therapy library as well as some picture cards to support students' language development. It is my hope that my students are motivated by these new materials!
