My Students
I am a first-year speech-language pathologist working with children from preschool through fifth grade. I serve a diverse group of students who have speech and language impairments that make it difficult to communicate. Despite the impact of their impairments, my students are hard workers and push themselves and their peers to make gains in therapy.
My students are inquisitive, warmhearted, and love a challenge! They eagerly anticipate coming to therapy, and I want to give them exciting and meaningful sessions to help them remain enthusiastic about attending!
My Project
Materials from Super Duper Publications will be excellent for targeting the various goals of my students.
These materials will help keep speech-language therapy fun for my students while still hitting all of the targets that need to be met in their intervention. Articulation cards will facilitate opportunities for my speech students to practice their target sounds in a variety of different ways, whether that be by simply drilling the sounds or implementing different games. The board games and fun cards will expose my language students to a wide variety of the form, content, and use of language.
I am thrilled at the variety of potential materials my students will be able to work with every day!
