My Project
Our speech and language students have shown incredible growth in their communication skills, and a pizza party would provide a fun, engaging way to reinforce their progress.
The project will include purchasing 13 large pizzas for the event, creating a relaxed and social environment where students can practice previously learned conversational skills for articulation, fluency, and language development.
By incorporating structured group discussions and peer interactions during the event, students will work on their speech goals in a natural setting, increasing their confidence and social communication abilities. This project will support their individual goals, such as improving articulation, vocabulary, and social/pragmatic language skills, while fostering a sense of community within the classroom. My students are special because they are resilient, eager to learn, and have the unique ability to thrive when given hands-on, real-world opportunities to practice their skills in an enjoyable environment.
