Help me give my students their work in color! I have had a black and white printer but it's time to add some color to my speech sessions.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Morvitz's classroom raised $400

My Project
I would like a multifunction printer in order to improve my speech sessions with students. With the ability to copy or print materials quickly, I can easily provide them for my students. At times, the children request a specific coloring page as a reward after our session, and I would easily be able to print those out. Most of my students have difficulty with academics, making schoolwork a challenge, so being able to print out something they have specifically requested would make a big difference for them.
My current printer only prints black and white, but with color my students will be more interested in the materials and I can more easily hold their attention with the vivid colors.
Many of my students have learning disabilities and have difficulty paying attention, and I have noticed that books with bright colors tend to hold their attention. Being able to print out materials in color would likely improve my student's attention and their interest in the activity.
The printer I am asking for is economical, and is less wasteful due to the refillable ink bottles. Teachers often have to spend their own money on ink and paper, but with this printer I will have to buy ink less often due to the cartridge-free technology. It will also be helpful to easily print double sided to avoid wasting paper.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
