My Project
I have been a therapist for a long time now, and I am always looking for new ways to provide therapy to support my students. I have recently been watching these therapy videos to support some of the harder to "fix" sounds. The Bjorem cards that were more recently developed have a unique way of approaching therapy for students with speech sound disorders. It is a phonetic way to help students learn how to make their sounds correctly. All the cards I asked for have to do with speech sound disorders. The cards have pictures that children can relate to and a structured approach to helping correct these sounds. I also added a throat scope so I can observe features in the mouth that could be impacting my students from making correct sound productions.
