This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a speech and language teacher, I am always looking for great tools and visuals to help promote success with my students. I have different speech students who have difficulty with the production of speech sounds within words; difficulties with receptive comprehension, specifically with understanding the language presented in questions, statements, and directions; expressive language difficulties, using a variety of words, gestures and/or signs to express wants and needs. These areas of difficulty will have a negative impact on successful communication and interaction within developmentally appropriate activities within the classroom environment.
