This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Access to technology in speech therapy will allow my students to learn through multiple modalities to best suit each learner. Incorporating technology into our speech therapy sessions will maximize variety of therapeutic materials while decreasing our carbon footprint by reducing paper usage.
My students are highly motivated by technology.
Increasing their engagement in our speech therapy sessions is key to their success and mastery of their goals. There are various evidence based approaches that can be accessed on the iPad to help facilitate effective speech therapy sessions for all students. I hope to incorporate this exciting mode of education in my speech therapy room this year!
