Our students were amazed by the butterfly life cycle live and up close. We've watched videos of the life cycle, but it doesn't compare to witnessing the change in person. \r\n\r\nThe conversation around the life cycle extended itself to the end of the 5th grade school year and how the students felt like they were growing and changing. \r\n\r\nThey even designed their own butterfly wings that represented them and who they want to be. We incorporated food, music, language and culture found in their research as much as we could. We opened up classroom stations that resembled a day in a Haiti market place. This printer is beneficial to my special education students. My students can now print out there work to display in the school and also use it for extra resources for their learning. This has made it easier for students to complete their writing assignments and has taken a lot of pressure off of them.\r\n\r\nMy students really enjoy having access to the printer so that we are no longer waiting for copies to be made and work is readily available. This technology allows my classroom to run more efficiently. I can have my work prepared for my students quicker by having this printer in my classroom\r\n\r\nSimple classroom materials like a printer really go a long way in helping to differentiate my lessons for my Special education students. All of my students are at different levels, so being able to print out resources specific to their needs and level is extremely beneficial.
