My Project
This project will help elementary special education students be successful in speech and language therapy! They need snacks, tissues (oh! the runny noses!), and fun new materials.
They have also been requesting a new game called Jenga to play when they get a reward day! I can incorporate the game into therapy by having them say their sound or targeted language goal before they take a turn pulling out a tower piece! They are so motivated to work hard if they can play as they work! Students also learn teamwork and how to win and lose a game with grace.
